About localwork

I spend a lot of my free time building things, exploring technology and figuring out how stuff works. Sometimes that means writing software, sometimes experimenting with old hardware, and sometimes following an idea just to see where it leads.

I enjoy getting the most out of the tools and devices I already own, preferably working locally when it makes sense. But I’m just as interested in finding clever ways to connect different technologies.

One experiment often leads to another, and I tend to learn things I never set out to learn in the first place.

That’s why I started localwork: a place to document what I try, what works, what doesn’t, and what I discover along the way. Partly it’s something to look back on, and partly I hope that sharing these discoveries might encourage someone else to keep experimenting too.
